LINES OF FLIGHT explores an alternative planetary future, an imagined archival abyss where spacetime ripples with the echoes of a primordial soup. The process of glitching GoogleEarth footage by rupturing the aerial view, creates a non-spacial rift of a forgotten past and an undiscovered future.
This work intends to situate the viewer within a collective elsewhere extending beyond the perceived planetary boundaries of the Anthropocene, toward an ecological chaosmos. Referencing both historical/real and futuristic/fictional environments such as Doggerland and Solaris, the work proposes a re-imagined cosmogony.
